Faculty of Agricultural Technology Unud Together with PERTETA Bali Branch held International Joint Conference "Smart Agricultural Technologies: Sowing Food Security in the 21st Century"
The Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP), in collaboration with the Bali Branch of the Association of Agricultural Engineering (PERTETA) held the International Joint Conference "The 9th Asian-Australasian Conference on Precision Agriculture (ACPA) and The 1st International Conference on Innovative Agricultural Technology (ICIAT)" with the theme "Smart Agricultural Technologies: Sowing Food Security in the 21st Century" on 29 October 31 2021 which took place virtually through the ZOOM application, Friday (29/10/2021). The implementation of this conference is a series of commemorations of the 59th Anniversary of Udayana University and the 37th Anniversary and the 27th Family Board.
Chairman of the Indonesian Society of Agricultural Engineering (ISAE) Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya, M.App.Sc., Ph.D., in his speech said that this conference presented speakers from 11 countries namely, Japan, Korea, China, New Zealand, USA, Israel, Italy, Turkey, India, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and attended by around 200 participants from academics and students of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology. The implementation of this conference is expected to provide an opportunity for participants to meet brilliant minds from various countries.
Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M. Eng., IPU., in his remarks and opening the conference said that this conference aims to gather scientists and academics in the field of agricultural technology. This conference is expected to be a means of exchanging information in the field of agricultural technology in supporting food security and related disciplines. In addition, it is also to discuss and share expertise, experience, and expand networks in the field of agricultural technology.
