Udayana Entrepreneurial Student Meeting with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk
The Udayana Entrepreneurial Student Meeting with PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk in collaboration between Udayana University and Bank Mandiri took place online through the Webex Application, Thursday (7/10/2021).
This activity presented two resource persons, namely Diwangkoro A Ratam (Vice President of Bank Mandiri) and I Putu Agi Pratama S.P (2018 Mandiri Young Entrepreneur Winner).
Vice Rector for Student Affairs of Udayana University Prof.Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, MT.,Ph.D, IPU., in his remarks as well as opening the event, said that the entrepreneurship of PT Bank Mandiri is expected to be able to foster Unud students from an early age to know more about the field of entrepreneurship. In addition to providing guidance, it is also hoped that PT Bank Mandiri can facilitate capital for students who want to be entrepreneurs or those who are already entrepreneurs. The internship program with PT Bank Mandiri's partner is a certified internship program for Unud students. By having an entrepreneurial desire, it is hoped that after completing their studies students will become a job creator and become a strong young entrepreneur.
Through this opportunity, the Vice Rector also expressed his appreciation to PT Bank Mandiri and hoped that in the future various activities between the two agencies could run well.
Meanwhile, Vice President of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk Bali Nusra, Winardi Legowo in his speech said that as one of the state-owned banks in Indonesia, Bank Mandiri has a social responsibility in developing community economic progress by contributing through the Mandiri Young Entrepreneur (WMM) program. The WMM program has been held since 2007 and has become the most popular competition and has given birth to many young entrepreneurs in Indonesia who are tough and innovative and have concern for the surrounding community. With this event, it is hoped that the collaboration between Udayana University and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk can provide the maximum benefit for students.
