Faculty of Engineering Unud Holds the 56th BKFT Peak Event "Infinite Struggle"

The Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University held a celebration of the 56th BKFT Anniversary on Friday, October 1, 2021. Through the theme 'Infinite Struggle' this event was held in a hybrid manner with the main location point in the Meeting Room 2, Lt. III Jimbaran Faculty of Engineering Dean Building. Also attending the celebration were the Vice Rector for Student Affairs, Chair of the FT Senate, Deans, Deputy Deans, Study Program Coordinators, and Representatives of BEM PM.

The Chief Executive of the 56th BKFT Anak Agung Ngurah Amrita, S.T., M.T in his speech said 'Infinite Struggle' as the theme of BKFT this time means unlimited struggle. "We hope that there is hope that is implied in that theme, where the Faculty of Engineering like the one in Mars Engineering will continue to be victorious and always be number one".

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, S.T.,Ph.D in his speech said that at the age of 56 the Faculty of Engineering has made a new history where the two best sons are trusted to lead Udayana University. I Ketut Sudarsana also conveyed the new challenges that must be faced “currently we live in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 or the era of disruption, many jobs are starting to shift so that new skills are needed. Therefore, the education system in universities must be able to respond, we must reorient the curriculum and upgrade the existing learning system. We will be able to face these challenges by working hard and working together. We must continue to fight-(struggle without limits)-'Infinite Struggle'-as the theme we carried out at BKFT 56, to create a Faculty of Engineering that excels both nationally and globally”.

While the Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng.,IPU wished the 56th anniversary of the BKFT "Hopefully the Faculty of Engineering will be at the forefront in carrying out the Tri Dharma Higher Education activities to support the progress and internationalization process of the Faculty of Engineering". I Nyoman Gde Antara also added that the Faculty of Engineering is one of the major faculties at Udayana University with 12 study programs and a large number of human resources, as well as very good lecturer qualifications. This will be able to make the Faculty of Engineering more advanced as long as it is accompanied by high dedication to the institution.

The peak of the 56th BKFT celebration was marked by cutting the cone; awarding awards to outstanding educators, education staff, and students; sharing session with alumni; as well as BKFT video playback.
