Unud Hosts Bali Higher Education Leaders Forum Meeting and Signed MoU with APTISI Bali
Udayana University (Unud) hosted the Bali Higher Education Leadership Forum meeting. The meeting which was attended by leaders from state universities and leaders of private universities, was held offline with the implementation of strict health protocols at the Unud Postgraduate Building Hall, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Wednesday (22/9/2021).
Rector of Unud Prof. Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Gde Antara, M.Eng. IPU., conveyed that at this meeting, the organization's Articles of Association were discussed. This is especially important for highly strategic forums. Through this forum, the Rector hopes that Unud and other universities can carry out work programs, which aim to increase responsibility as university leaders, namely participating in the intellectual life of the nation, as mandated by the law.
Unud is ready to cooperate with all universities in Bali, because our goal is to educate the nation's life, educate students' children according to their respective main tasks and functions. So get programs that are relevant to it. With this, it is hoped that Balinese human resources can be made superior, have personality and contribute to the development of the nation.
On this occasion, an MOU was also signed between Unud and the Association of Indonesian Private Universities (APTISI) Region VIII A Bali. Unud is trusted as a university that guides all universities in Bali, of course through this MoU it is hoped that the Tri Dharma of Higher Education can be carried out together. In the future, collaborative services will also be carried out, so that they have more impact on the community. By working together, of course, everything can be done faster.
Meanwhile, the Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, M.Sc., said that this meeting was very strategic. Which according to him, Unud has placed an extraordinary position, namely Adaptive, reformist and always moving forward to collaborate. A quality advancement relates to collaboration.
He invited Unud and other universities to maintain togetherness. Between universities may coexist, may also compete positively to improve quality, and to pursue quality.
Furthermore, he hopes, in collaborating later, to always synergize with other universities, so that later there will be take and give. Which, between these public and private universities will be able to fill each other, if there is a gap, it can be covered by those who have advantages. The Head of LLDIKTI hopes that there will always be synergy, so that later they can complement each other.
