The Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will Collaborate with Unud to Hold a Dialogue to Disseminate Digital Diplomacy
Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Unud Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika accompanied by the Deputy Dean III of FISIP, Coordinator of International Relations and the Team and Coordinator of Cooperation and Public Relations received an audience from the Information and Media Directorate Team of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenlu RI) at the Postgraduate Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Tuesday (21/9/ 2021). The Information and Media Directorate team that attended were the Multimedia Function Coordinator, Pinardi Priambodo, Titania Arimbi, Diplomat, Bondhet Suryo, Diplomat and Khaerul Iqbal, Administrative Staff. This hearing is in the context of exploring cooperation in the implementation of the 2021 International Conference on Digital Diplomacy (ICDD).
The team from the Directorate of Information and Media on the occasion said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would hold the International Conference on Digital Diplomacy (ICDD) on November 16, 2021 in Bali. ICDD is a discussion forum between countries regarding digital diplomacy, and is the right forum for capacity building, seeking opportunities for cooperation in the economic field, especially the creative economy. In addition to the main activities, ICDD also has a series of preliminary activities themed "ICDD Week" which will be filled with exhibitions, dialogues with academics and the technology community which will take place on 11-17 November 2021.
Through collaboration with Unud, the Directorate of Information and Media wants to hold dialogue/discussion activities with academics and students with the theme "Digital Chat in the Diplomacy with Udayana University" with a hybrid concept. The team really hopes that Unud can work together to make this activity a success.
Vice Rector Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika appreciated the team's arrival and welcomed the cooperation for the organization of this event which will take place in Bali. Unud will involve FISIP to support the implementation of activities. The Vice Chancellor hopes that in this meeting what was discussed will produce the desired result.
While the FISIP Unud who attended were very enthusiastic and welcomed the idea of this activity, a few months ago there were also international activities that took place virtually and the interest of students was extraordinary. FISIP also hopes that there will be an MoU or PKS that can serve as an umbrella for cooperation between the two parties and the sustainability and development of future cooperation. FISIP is ready to collaborate to facilitate the implementation of activities.
