Unud Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Bali Province BKKBN

Udayana University attended the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Launching of Online Genre Counseling Services and PKBR for Youth carried out by the Bali Province National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) located in the Wacika Room, the Bali Province BKKBN office. Wednesday, (2/6/2021). Present representing the Chancellor of Udayana University in this case the Head of the Academic, Cooperation and Public Relations Bureau, Drs. I Gusti Ngurah Indra Kecapa, M.Ed.

In addition to Udayana University, the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was also attended by other BKKBN partners, namely Dyana Pura University, Ngurah Rai University, Denpasar Health Polytechnic, Dyana Pura University, Indonesian Psychological Association of Bali Region, Regional Board of Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association of Bali Province, Association of Health Experts. Indonesian Society, Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Bali Region, Fatayat Nahdlatul Ulama Bali Province, UPTD for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection in Bali Province, CV. BBM Medindo, RRI Denpasar, Gema Merdeka, Radio Sonora Bali, Bali Province Genre Forum and Representatives of Peer Counselors.

The Head of Representative for the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of Bali Province Agus P. Proclamation in his speech said that the implementation of this activity is a manifestation of the seriousness of the BKKBN in supporting the vision, mission and promises of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, especially those related to the duties and functions of the BKKBN, namely to Realizing Quality Families and Balanced Population Growth to support the achievement of an Advanced Indonesia that is Sovereign, Independent, and Has a Personality Based on Mutual Cooperation through the Proud Kencana Program.

Representatives of the Bali Province BKKBN together with the Bali Province GenRe Forum presented a new program, namely "Genre Online Counseling Services". GenRe Online Counseling is a forum and media for teenagers to share, tell stories or conduct counseling related to the various problems they face. The GenRe Online Counseling Service is managed by youth counselors who are members of the Bali Province GenRe Forum who have attended orientation and have certificates as peer counselors. The GenRe Online Counseling Service uses the linktree application on the Bali Province GenRe Forum Instagram media which is directly connected to adolescent counselors, so that counseling can run according to the existing counselor SOPs and code of ethics. It is hoped that the GenRe Online Counseling Service will be accepted by Balinese youth and be able to contribute in shaping Balinese youth with quality and character.
