STUDENT EXCHANGE FROM JENESYS PROGRAM JAPAN VISIT UDAYANA UNIVERSITY

All of the students from Japan and Udayana University Students took a Photo Together

 

Denpasar – Friday (02/02), 20 students from Kumamoto Prefecture-Japan who participated in a series of JENESYS (Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) student exchange activities visited Udayana University. This visit is a reply to the visit that has been done by 20 students (18 students of International Relations Program and 2 students of Nursing Study Program) from Udayana University who have participated in similar student exchange activities in 2017. This student exchange program is the result of the government cooperation of Indonesia and Japan.

The Japanese students, on their visit to Udayana University, went to the International Relations Program of Udayana University and Japanese Literature Department. At the beginning of the visit at Udayana University, Japanese students of this program were welcomed by the alumni of JENESYS program last year which majority were students of International Relations Program in the Nusantara Room, Agrokomplek Hall. This welcome begins with speeches from representatives of lecturers of International Relations Program Sukma Sushanti, S.S., M.Si and the Vice Dean III of Faculty of Social and Political Sciences namely Dra. Nazrina Zuryani, MA. Ph.D.

Japanese Students And Udayana University Are Performing the Poco Poco Dance

 

After the welcome session, Japanese students and JENESYS students of Universitas Udayana interacted and exchanged ideas with each other. This was seen when Japanese and Udayana University students presented and tried to do some cultural arts owned by both countries. In addition, JENESYS alumni students from Universitas Udayana also provide traditional Indonesian drinks and snacks to JENESYS students from Japan as an effort to introduce Indonesia deeper to the Japanese students.  

At the end of the first visit at Udayana University, Japanese students and alumni of JENESYS Udayana University conducted a photo together as a sign of kinship between students of two countries. After the photo session, a group of Japanese students continued their visit at Udayana University of Japanese Literature Department until 18:00 WITA. (pratama)
