Denpasar – Sunday (17/12), In commemorating 59 years of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Japan, Udayana University Tourism Faculty together with PERSADA (Alumni Association of Japan) held Bali seminars and Exibition. The event that was held in Nusantara Room of Agrokomplek Building of Udayana University Sudirman-Denpasar Campus was attended by about 120 participants. The event was held for about five hours with a series of events starting at 09.00 WITA until 14.00 WITA.

The seminar and exibition commemoration of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Japan started with the reading of prayers and singing Indonesian Raya songs. At the core session of the seminar, this activity started with a presentation of keynote speakers in this series of events, Hirohisa Chiba who also served as head of the Consulate General of Japan in Bali.

After the keynote speaker finished reading his presentation, the series of events continued with the presentation of material from Prof. Dr. Ir. IGP Wirawan, M.Se as Recipient of Award from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and continued with material from Prof. DR. I Nyoman Sedana, M.A who is a lecturer from the Indonesia-Bali Art Institute. The second and third presentation presentation was guided by moderator Ni Gusti Ayu Susrami Dewi, SST.Par., M.Par.

In addition to the seminar, this event is also inserted with Exibition activities featuring various information about Japanese diplomacy in Bali. The various informations shown in this series of events are Indonesia-Japan relations research journals, information about Japanese relics in Bali, Aikido martial arts, Japanese dances, Cosplay, Japanese drink, typical Japanese kimono clothing, and so on.
