Prof. Dr. Arief Hidayat S.H., M.S. opened the Seminar and General Lecture at Faculty of Law.
In the part of the 52th BKFH activity, there was a seminar and general lecture with theme “MK and Indonesia Regulation Harmonization”. In this event was present the head of Indonesia Constitution Court, Prof. Dr. Arief Hidayat, S.H.,M.S.. Besides of the head of MK RI, this seminar and general lecture was presented by Director General of Legislation from Ministry of Justice and Human Rights, Constitution Judge, Staff of Constitution Court as well as accompanied by Vice Rector III, the Dean of Faculty of Law and lecturers in Faculty of Law.
Prof. Dr. Arief Hidayat S.H., M.S in his greeting said about the Basis and Pancasila Ideology in Indonesia which the gist is democracy in politic, democracy in economy and it based on the Ketuhanan Yang Maha Esa (God Almighty).
“Until we are in democracy, economy, law, and culture and all of life aspects should be based on the divine of God. Through this divinity, it became the base of our responsibility in protecting our country” he said.
He added, there are three things that must go on the implementation of MK, the first is MK has no forceful measures, secondly the implementation of MK ruling is highly dependent on respect of the all stakeholder in the country, and the third, the implementation of MK ruling requires negative system action and collective consciousness from the existing state institution to finally carrying out and implementing the ruling.
According to I Nengah Suantara, S.H.,M.H as the chairman of committee said his hope that “there will appear new thought, the progressive thought to build law, and the students be able to develop a critical attitude towards legal code which has been underway and already in effect. he said (sobhita)
