FK Unud Collaborates with IAKMI and the Indonesian Ministry of Health to Hold Disease Prevention and Control Program Planning Training


In order to increase the capacity of human resources in planning disease prevention and control programs, the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (FK Unud) collaborated with the Bali Regional Management Association of Indonesian Public Health Experts (IAKMI) to organize a Health Program Planning and Annual Budget Training event. 2024 which will be held from 1 to 4 July 2024, at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University. This activity was attended by 48 participants from planning and budget analysis staff within the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Indonesian Ministry of Health.


In this activity, training materials were provided for 4 days, one of which was presented on the first day regarding "Program Planning in the Health Sector" by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., moderated by Mrs. Ni Made Kurniati, SKM., M.Kes., from IAKMI Bali Regional Management.


On this occasion, Prof. Ady also expressed his appreciation and hopes for this training program.

"Thank you for your trust in choosing the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a place to study in increasing the knowledge of human resource planning and budget analysis staff within the Directorate General of Disease Prevention and Control of the Indonesian Ministry of Health. Hopefully in the future we can continue to work together in efforts to improve health programs." he said.


After the presentation of the first material, the participants were then divided into 2 groups, namely the managerial group and the technical group who will take part in training until July 4 2024.
