"FMIPA Unud Successfully Hosts Independent UTBK: Realizing Quality Student Selection"

Bukit Jimbaran, July 3, 2024 - The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) at Udayana University (Unud) has successfully conducted the Independent Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK). This activity is part of the University's effort to recruit high-quality prospective students through an independent selection process.


UTBK Mandiri at Udayana University this year was attended by approximately 3,021 participants from various regions in Indonesia. And the exam time is 3 days from 1 to 3 July 2024 and specifically at FMIPA, 4 buildings are used for the exam location with a total of 260 participants, all of which are located within the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, and by implementing strict protocols to ensure safety and comfort. all participants and committee members. And the exam is carried out using the latest computer systems, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the assessment process.


The Dean of FMIPA Unud, Prof. Ni Luh Watiniasih, who also served as the location supervisor, stated in her remarks, "This Independent UTBK demonstrates our commitment to seeking exceptional prospective students. We are confident that through this selection process, Udayana University will acquire new high-quality students ready to contribute to the advancement of science."


The organizing committee, consisting of lecturers and staff from FMIPA Unud, worked diligently to ensure the smooth running of the event. One committee member interviewed said, "We have meticulously prepared everything, from the exam system to supervision, to guarantee the integrity and smooth execution of the selection process."


The results of this Independent UTBK will serve as the basis for selecting new students at Udayana University for the upcoming academic year. The faculty hopes that through this rigorous and transparent selection process, FMIPA Unud can continue to improve the quality of education and research, particularly in the fields of mathematics and natural sciences.
