FMIPA UNUD and Google Cloud Curriculum South Asia initiated cloud computing cooperation
Denpasar 18, January 2024 - Udayana University (Unud) held a meeting with Google to establish cooperation in the field of cloud computing. The meeting was attended by Deputy Dean 1 for Academic and Planning Affairs, Dr. Ngurah Agus Sanjaya ER. S.Kom, M.Kom, representatives of Informatics lecturers, Agus Muliantara, S.Kom, M.Kom, I Gede Surya Rahayuda, M.Kom, and representatives of Supporting Google Cloud Curriculum Southeast Asia Mrs. Siti Malina, at the Jimbaran Campus, Unud.
This collaboration aims to strengthen cooperation between Unud and Google in the fields of education, research and development. In this collaboration, Google will provide access to comprehensive and up-to-date cloud computing learning materials. The learning material will cover various topics, from the basics of cloud computing to the most advanced cloud computing technology. Google will also provide training to Unud students to help them develop their cloud computing skills.
Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Unud, Agus Sanjaya, welcomed this collaboration. He hopes that this collaboration can improve the quality of education at Unud and produce graduates who are competent in the field of cloud computing.
Siti Malina explained that "This collaboration is one of Google's efforts to support digital transformation in Indonesia. Google believes that cloud computing has an important role in this digital transformation. "Cloud computing can help various organizations, including universities, to become more efficient, effective and competitive,"
Some specific details about the collaboration program: Cloud computing learning materials provided by Google will cover: Cloud computing basics, such as cloud infrastructure, cloud management, and cloud security. The most advanced cloud computing technology, such as machine learning, artificial intelligence, and big data. The training provided by Google will include: Basic cloud computing training which will be given to all Unud informatics students
Advanced cloud computing training will be given to Unud informatics students who are interested in exploring the field of cloud computing
