Capacity Strengthening Program for Ormawa BEM Faculty of Engineering, Improving Waste Bank Management in Selat Village

The Implementation Team for the Capacity Strengthening Program for Ormawa BEM, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University has carried out socialization of the Waste Bank Management Improvement Program in Selat Village. This socialization activity took place at the Banjar Hall of Witajati Village. This activity was attended by Deputy Chancellor III of Udayana University, Chair of LPPM, Perbekel and Supervisor of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University.

 

 

The socialization was opened by Vice Chancellor III, Prof. Ir. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, M.T., Ph.D., IPU., Where he expressed his hope that the students can implement this program well so that the Waste Bank Management Improvement Program in Selat Village can become a model for other villages in the Buleleng district environment .

 

 

This socialization is a follow-up to the coordination that has been carried out with the Selat Village Government where the Village Government wants to make changes regarding Waste Bank Management which is still not good. This management change is expected to improve the quality of the waste bank.

 

At the end of this socialization, a cooperation agreement was also signed between Selat Village and the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University and BEM, Faculty of Engineering related to the Assisted Village for the sustainability of the Selat Village Waste Bank Management Program.
