Udayana University Faculty of Engineering students won achievements at the INKAI National Karate Championship

Shalahuddin Ali Basyah, who is a Civil Engineering Study Program student class of 2019 achieved extraordinary achievements by winning 3rd place in the senior category in the 2023 Bali Governor's Cup open National INKAI karate championship. This championship was held at Lila Bhuana Sports Hall and lasted 3 days , from 18 to 20 August 2023.

 

Hundreds of Karate-ka who are INKAI members from various parts of Indonesia participated in this tournament. Participants come from various age categories, including early childhood, pre-beginners, beginners, cadets, juniors, to seniors. Salahuddin Ali Basyah's achievement in winning 3rd place in the senior category is an impressive achievement, considering the intense competition in this national level championship.

 

 

This karate championship is part of the INKAI Bali Provincial Government work program for 2022-2023. This event was made even more special by the direct presence of the Chairman of the INKAI Center, Rear Admiral TNI Ivan Yulivan. The official opening of the championship was carried out by the Governor of Bali, I Wayan Koster, on the first day of the event.

 

INKAI itself is the largest and oldest karate organization in Indonesia. In Bali, active and passive INKAI members reach more than 100,000 Karate-ka. This organization has branches and branches spread across almost all of Bali Province, with the exception of Bangli Regency.

 

Shalahuddin Ali Basyah's achievements not only reflect his dedication in developing karate skills, but are also an inspiration to fellow students and members of the karate community at Unud and throughout Indonesia.
