PT Awina Sinergi Japan Implements

PT Awina Sinergi Japan visited the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University regarding the follow-up to the Joint Research on Off-Grid Battery Swap EV Station Flexible Solar Panels with Udayana University collaboration on Friday, August 4, 2023 at the Advance Research Laboratory Building, Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, Jimbaran campus. This visit was attended by the Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering, Chair of the Joint Research Faculty of Engineering, and the CEO of PT Awina Sinergi.

The Research Team from the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University together with PT Awina Sinergi Internasional discussed the realization of research related to the Joint Research EV Station Flexible Solar Panel. Matters discussed regarding research design, evaluation of activity plans and techniques related to installation work and equipment shipments from abroad to the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University. The estimated cost of equipment and installation of the EV Station of 3.4 billion is fully funded by the Japanese Team, said Mr. Sasaki Akito, CEO of PT Awina Sinergi.

Prof. Budiarsa, Deputy Dean I of the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University gave full support for the implementation of this collaboration. Apart from prioritizing downstream research, this activity will also be able to increase the UI GreenMetric score regarding the quantity of renewable energy at Udayana University, he added. The flexible solar panels that will be installed are lighter and more flexible compared to existing conventional solar panels, but to get the best performance, this "novelty" needs to be tested in Indonesia. This research involved lecturers and students in the Faculty of Engineering, Udayana University, as explained by Prof. Winaya as Chair of the Joint Research team.
