Disscuss About Myths and Facts About Palm Oil, BPDPKS Collaborates with Lecturers of the TIP Study Program of Udayana University to Give Training on Processing Used Palm Oil at the 2023 Bali Province Palm Oil Edu Talk Event

Lecturer in the Agroindustrial Technology Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Udayana University Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb is again trusted to be a resource person regarding used cooking oil processing. This time, she was entrusted to be a resource person at the Bali Province Palm Oil Edu Talk activity which was held by the Directorate General of Treasury of the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on Friday-Sunday 9 – 11 June 2023 at the Prime Plaza Hotel Sanur, Bali (Offline) or via Zoom (Online) attended by teachers, high school/vocational high school students in the province of Bali and other education personnel in collaboration with the Indonesian Teachers' Association (PGRI).

 

The Bali Province 2023 Palm Oil Edu Talk activity was carried out as a forum for conveying objective facts about oil palm and thoroughly discussing myths and facts about oil palm. This activity was attended by Plt. BPDPKS Partnership Director, Mr. Kabul Wijayanto and several other speakers. Mrs. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb. providing training related to "Utilization and Demonstration of Candle & Soap Production from Used Used Palm Oil" which started with educating participants on how to use good cooking oil, refining used cooking oil and processing used cooking oil into non-food products that have high selling value as well as demonstrations and hands-on practice in the process of refining used cooking oil and processing used cooking oil into soap and candle products.

 

Mrs. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agb. really appreciates this Palm Oil Edu Talk activity held by the Directorate General of Treasury of the Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS) Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia and is happy to be able to share information and discuss with participants regarding the use of used cooking oil, she also hopes that by holding this activity participants, she said.
