MBKM Bina Desa FH UNUD Students Organize Paralegal Training in Paksebali Village

Klungkung, FLUNUD.ac.id - FH UNUD students undergoing the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) Bina Desa program in 2023 on Friday (09/06/2023) held paralegal training activities at the Paksebali Village Office, Dawan District, Klungkung Regency. This activity is the second work program with the theme "Training Paralegal Personnel as the Front Guard in Realizing the Principle of Equality Before the Law for the Village Community". This activity is a form of cooperation between Bina Desa Paksebali Students of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University together with the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Bali Province and the Cakra Eka Sudarsana Legal Aid Foundation (CES). 

 

The right to obtain legal aid is a fundamental right for someone who is dealing with or experiencing legal problems. Obtaining legal aid is also a manifestation of the principle of equality before the law. Paralegals have an important role in helping to advocate for a problem in the community. 

 

In response to this training program, Paksebali Village, represented by the Head of the Paksebali Village Government Section, supported and appreciated the holding of this activity. This activity was also attended by the Klungkung Regency Government, which at this time was represented by Drs. Ida Bagus Ketut Mas Ananda (Assistant for Government and People's Welfare), Eke Andriyan Prawira, S.H., M.H. (Legal Analyst of the Klungkung Regency Regional Secretariat), Representatives from the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Bali Province, Chairperson of the CES Legal Aid Foundation and its staff, Paksebali Village Officials, Dr. Made Gde Subha Karma Resen, S.H., M.Kn. (Lecturer of Bina Desa Paksebali FH UNUD), Cokorda Dalem Dahana, S.H., M.Kn. (Head of Proficiency Unit FH UNUD), Monitoring and Evaluation Team of Udayana University, and 20 participants who are also part of Paksebali Village officials, Village Guardians, and the general public.
