Open University Malaysia Audience at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.

 

The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University welcomed the arrival of Prof. Dr. Santhi Raghavan (Deputy Vice Chancellor/Vice President of Open University Malaysia. The aim of the meeting was to explore cooperation in the field of Higher Education's Tri Dharma, taking place in the Dean's Meeting Room, Unud Medical Faculty Building, Denpasar (02/06/2023).

 

The Study Programs that are planned to be explored in collaboration with Open University Malaysia are Undergraduate Psychology Study Programs, Undergraduate Nursing and Nursing Professionals, Undergraduate and Masters in Public Health Sciences and several other study programs that have the potential to collaborate with the curriculum system at Open University Malaysia.

 

Arrival of Prof. Dr. Santhi Raghavan from Open University Malaysia was welcomed by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes. The Dean expressed his deepest gratitude for choosing Udayana University as the institution for this collaboration, and hoped that the collaboration could continue, especially in the education sector.

 

The event continued with a presentation on the profile of Open University Malaysia by Prof. Dr. Santhi Raghavan (Deputy Vice Chancellor/Vice President, and Profile of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University which was delivered directly by the Dean. The event continued into a discussion session discussing possible collaborations that could be carried out, including Staff and Student Exchange and Curriculum Development. Cooperation activities would be preceded by the preparation of Documents Cooperation Agreement between the two parties.

 

This event was also attended by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information, Prof. dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., Dr. Wihandani urged, and Dr. Ida Ayu Ika Wahyuniari as coordinator of UPIKS FK Unud.
