Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id – Faculty of Law UNUD held a Studium Generale (Public Lecture) with the topic "Legal Education Writing Articles for Academic Purposes and Strategies for Developing Law Faculty in Society 5.0 Era" on Tuesday (07/02/2023) in the Hall Faculty of Law UNUD Denpasar Campus. The public lecture was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Law UNUD and was attended by Deputy Dean I, Coordinator of Magister Program (S2) Notary, Heads of Legal Lab/Department, Coordinator of Information Management and Cooperation Units, teaching lecturers, undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of Law Faculty of Law UNUD.

As for the single speaker at this public lecture, Dr. Prosper Simbarashe Maguchu, LLM., a tenured lecturer at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam Faculty of Law. Dr. Maguchu presented material entitled “Writing Clinic Writing in Seven Steps.” The material presented really caught the attention of undergraduate, graduate and doctoral students of Law at the Faculty of Law UNUD because it relates to the method of writing scientific papers in the form of theses, theses, dissertations or journal articles. Starting from compiling research questions, paragraphs, up-to-date references, using a comparative approach (the comparative indicators are determined in advance, whether the legal system, economic level, implementation of human rights or something else).

Presence of Dr. Maguchu to the Faculty of Law UNUD was not only to give a public lecture but was the first step to establish cooperation between the Faculty of Law Vrije Universiteit Amsterdan and the Faculty of Law UNUD. Previously, Vrije Universiteit had collaborated with the University of Indonesia, Al-Azhar Indonesia University and Hasanuddin University. Hopefully the collaboration with the Faculty of Law UNUD can be implemented properly, improving the quality of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
