Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University Become Part of the Success of the 2022 IVSA National Community Service activities in Telemung Village, Banyuwangi Regency
Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreaks have returned to Indonesia, at least currently 585,000 cattle hooves have been infected with FMD since they first entered in early April 2022. The government's efforts in handling this case are very diverse, limiting livestock traffic, conditional slaughter, and vaccination programs. Indonesia Veterinary Student Association (IVSA) as an organization whose members are veterinary students from all over Indonesia take part in the successful handling of FMD in Indonesia in FVM National National Education activities 2022.
Pemmasnas FVM is one of the PB FVM auction programs which is engaged in community service, especially helping in animal health. This activity is one of the manifestations of the tri dharma of higher education. This year UNAIR PC and UWKS PC had the opportunity to collaborate in this activity. FVM National Community Service 2022 was held on 25-27 November 2022 in Telemung Village, Kalipuro District, Banyuwangi Regency with the theme "Student Spirit in Efforts to Improve Livestock Health and Prevention of FMD in Goats in Telemung Village, Kalipuro District, Banyuwangi Regency, East Java".
