Community Service Study Program MIH FH UNUD in Serangan Village, South Denpasar

Denpasar, FLUNUD.ac.id - Community Service was held by the Masters (S2) Study Program of Law (MIH) FH UNUD on Saturday (26/11/2022) with the topic "The Role of Traditional Villages in Responding to Problems Talk in the Traditional Village” took place in Serangan Village, South Denpasar District. The community service activity began with cleaning and praying at Serangan Temple and then the Service Team was received directly by the Serangan Village Chief (I Wayan Karma, S.IP., MH). The community service was attended by the Coordinator of the MIH FH UNUD Study Program (Dr. I Nyoman Bagiastra, SH, MH), homebase lecturers, staff, students of the MIH FH UNUD Study Program, Serangan Village Office employees and members of the Serangan Village community.


The 2 speakers who are academics of the Faculty of Law UNUD: Dr. I Gusti Agung Mas Rwa Jayantiari, SH, M.Kn and Dr. Diah Ratna Sari Hariyanto, SH, MH The material provided is related to the settlement of customary cases and customary criminal law. The people of Serangan Village were very interested in the material presented so that active discussions took place. To solve problems among residents, Serangan Village forms a special team headed directly by the Head of the Neighborhood. In addition, the Serangan Village Chief said that his community members still do not understand the relationship between customary law and applicable national law, so counseling/socialization like this is really needed.
