Tips for Applying for a National Research Grant at a National Seminar

The Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University through the Research and Community Service Unit (UPPM) held a National Grant Seminar with the theme "Tips for Submitting a National Research Grant" online. (15/11/2022)

This seminar presents speakers who are competent in their fields, namely, Dr. rer. grout. Ronny Martien, M.Si from the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) with 96 participants from research lecturers at FK Unud.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, who in his speech said that research is the main task as a lecturer. In an effort to meet the credit score in the field of research, lecturers are obliged to do as much research as possible. Lecturers must be able to take advantage of research funding sources provided by the government, both from the ministry, the private sector and other sources.

"We hope that after attending this seminar, many research proposals from lecturers are submitted to compete in research grants provided by the ministry at the national level," added Dr. January.

While the Coordinator of the Research and Community Service Unit (UPPM) FK Unud, Dr. Agus Eka Darwinata, S.Ked., Ph.D said that the current acceptance of grant funds within the Faculty of Medicine Unud is still dominated by university grants and faculty grants. We need to increase the acceptance of national grants in an integral way. National grants show a better quality of research and of course the grants received are larger so as to enable researchers to conduct research at a better level. We hope that this event can be useful for our beloved lecturers, researchers and institutions
