TPB Study Program of FTP Unud Holds Discussion with UP3M FT Unud to Prepare for IABEE International Accreditation

Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Agricultural Technology (TPB FTP Unud) Hold a discussion with UP3M Faculty of Engineering Udayana University, namely Dr. Ir. I Nyoman Setiawan, MT. The discussion was held on Tuesday, June 14th , 2022 in the Theater Room, GA Building, 2nd  Floor, Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Bukit Jimbaran Campus. This discussion was led and attended by the Coordinator of the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program, Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Putu Gunadnya, MS., along with a Lecturer in the Unud FTP TPB Study Program.

 

Topics discussed included the Concept of Assessment of Learning Outcomes for Graduates of Subjects/Practicum and recording of Outcome-based Education (OBE) assessments or output-based education systems. This OBE system covers the entire educational process from curriculum design, formulation of learning objectives and achievements, educational strategies, design of learning methods, assessment procedures and educational environment. The application of the OBE system is an absolute requirement for IABEE accreditation.

 

Previously, a coordination meeting was held to prepare for the BAN-PT accreditation of TPB Study Program from Grade A to Superior and preparation for IABEE international accreditation from Professional Accreditation to General Accreditation. IABEE is an independent Indonesian accreditation agency that continues to seek recognition from the Indonesian people. IABEE has become a member of the Washington Accord (WA) with Provisional Signatory status. By accrediting the Study Program to IABEE, the Study Program will obtain substantial equivalent recognition within the framework of international agreements followed by IABEE. Thus, the Study Program will be considered capable by the international community to produce graduates who master the Learning Outcomes who are substantially equipped to tread a professional career in line.

 

 

Coordinator of Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program Dr. Ir. Ida Bagus Putu Gunadnya, MS. "Saying that the discussion is one of the efforts in the accreditation preparation process, all efforts will be carried out so that accreditation can run smoothly and in the future it is hoped that the Agricultural and Biosystem Engineering Study Program can be more developed and accredited internationally," he said.
