Downstream Research, FTP Unud Collaborates with Banjarangkan District in the Development of Tourism Supporting Creative Products

The Faculty of Agricultural Technology signed a Cooperation agreement with Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency On May 19th, 2022. The signing of this collaboration was carried out between the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Prof. Ir. I Made Anom Sutrisna Wijaya. M.App.Sc., Ph.D., who was accompanied by the Coordinator of UPIKs FTP Unud, namely Dr. Dewa Ayu Anom Yuarini, S.TP., M.Agr. with the District Head of Banjarangkan Dewa Komang Aswin, AP.MM.

 

The signing of this collaboration is a downstream research of Unud FTP for Bakas Village and Tihingan Village with the concept of exploring the local potential of agricultural products to be used as creative products to support tourism. The initial meeting of this Cooperation Activity was the development of local potential-based products, namely Herbal Drinks made from Pandan Harum and the formation of community character to be more concerned with the environment starting from the use of household waste such as used cooking oil which can later be developed into creative products supporting tourism.

 

The Camat of Banjarangkan District responded positively to this and hoped that with the signing of the Cooperation with FTP Unud, they could develop creative industry products that support tourism in every Tourism Village of Banjarangkan District starting from Bakas Village and Tihingan Village.
