
Prof. Dr. I Nyoman Darma Putra, M.Litt
Udayana University
I Nyoman Darma Putra is a Professor at the Faculty of Humanities, Udayana University, Bali. He is currently the head of the Doctoral Program in Cultural Studies at Udayana University. Darma completed his undergraduate education at Udayana University (1985), his master's degree at the University of Sydney (1994), and his PhD at the University of Queensland (2003). He has served as a visiting professor in England, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Japan, and Australia. In 2018, he participated in a teaching mobility program at the University of Glasgow, England, funded by Erasmus. Darma has published several books, two of which are "A Literary Mirror: Balinese Reflections on Modernity and Identity in the Twentieth Century (Leiden KITLV/Brill, 2011)" and "Tourism, Development and Terrorism in Bali (2007) co-authored with Michael Hitchcock; initially published by Ashgate and later reissued by Routledge (2018)". Since 2010, Darma Putra has been the editor-in-chief of the Jurnal Kajian Bali (Journal of Bali Studies), which has been indexed in Scopus since December 2023. Prof. Kadambot H.M Siddique
The University of Western Australia
Over 30 years’ experience in agricultural research, teaching and management in both Australia and overseas. He has developed a national and international reputation in agricultural science especially in the fields of crop physiology, production agronomy, farming systems, genetic resources, breeding research in cereal, grain and pasture legumes and oilseed crops.
He has published more than 760 scientific papers and book chapters /books. Professor Siddique is the Highly Cited Researcher (Hi Ci) in 2021 in two categories: (i) Agricultural Sciences (ii) Plant and Animal Science (Thomson Reuters/ Clarivate Analytics). Professor Siddique’s Google Scholar h-index: 97 and citations: 35,533 (6 September 2022).
Fellow of the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering, African Academy of Sciences (FTSE), Australian Agricultural Institute and Indian National Academy of Agricultural Sciences (FNAS). Professor Siddique was designated by United National FAO as Special Ambassador for the International Year of Pulses 2016. Professor Siddique was elected as Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences (FAAS) (first Australia to be elected to the Academy). Foreign Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences.
Professor Siddique is the recipient of national and international awards including: Urrbrae Memorial Award, Member of the Order of Australia (AM), 2014 Western Australian Year of the Award (CitWA), the Dunhunag Award by China's Gansu Provincial Government. He received the Friendship Award from the Chinese Central Government (the highest award for a foreign expert) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to agricultural science and education in China over the years. Professor Siddique was the Western Australian Indian of the Year 2021.Professor Siddique is one of the three finalists for the Western Australian Scientist of the Year 2022 Award.
Professor Siddique has also trained numerous Honours, MSc and PhD students. He has developed an extensive network of scientists within Australia and has also established a diverse range of overseas (China, India, Turkey, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Malaysia, East Timor, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Europe, Canada, USA) collaborative research and educational projects. He holds a number of national and international committee positions.

Prof. Harry W Palm

He is a professor at University of Rostock, Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Aquaculture and Sea-ranching since first January of 2011. He was awarded as Heisenberg-Fellowship by the German Research Council/DFG) at the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, GERMANY from 2006 until 2010.
His research interests are Ecology and evolution of marine fish parasites in the North Atlantic, Antarctica, Indian Ocean and the deep-sea, Fish parasites as biological indicators in the marine food web, fish migration and eutrophication, Fish parasites and fish disease prevention in the Indonesian grouper mariculture, and Linkages between marine parasitology and other disciplines in marine sciences, such as fisheries biology and oceanography.
The 9th International Workshop on Cestode Systematics and Phylogeny in 2017 which was organized by the Professorship for Aquaculture and Sea-Ranching was held under his leadership. His recent project was regarding the Phosphorus recycling in animal production, Phosphorus recovery from sediment from recirculating aquaculture systems as the project management together with Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Jens Tränckner. This project was supported by IOW third-party funded project II: P-recycling in animal production.
He is a professor at Yamaguchi University. His main research fields are Earthquake engineering, Disaster prevention engineering, Satellite remote sensing for disaster management, about 200 academic papers.
He has so many contribution to academic societies, governments and regional activities as a branch manager, chairman, and committee members related to disaster management in country, prefecture, and city organizations, which now he as President NPO Corporation “Disaster Prevention Network Ube” and President Institute of “Yamaguchi GIS Hiroba”.
He received several awards, such as Chugoku Culture Prize (Chugoku Newspaper Corporation), “For Education and Research Activities related to Disaster Management”, November 2016, Ube City Autonomy Achievement Award, “Disaster prevention activities in Ube City for many years”, November 2021.
He is a professor at Okayama University. His enthusiastic to elucidate molecular mechanism of collagen hydrolysis by bacterial collagenases to turn bacterial wisdom into clinical applications. Also interested in the gene expression regulation of bacterial collagenases by non-coding small RNAs and the binding proteins. He dedicated to improve education systems at various levels in undergraduate and graduate schools of medicine. he has been awarded the Kuroya Scholarship Award from Japanese Society for Bacteriology.
He became the Board of Education at Okayama University Graduate School of Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmaceutical Sciences science 2008-present.
Many professional memberships he followed, including as a Director 2015 – 2020 and Chairperson of 94th General Meeting 2021 at Japanese Society for Bacteriology (JSB), Japanese Association for Infectious Diseases, Toxin Symposium, American Society for Microbiology (ASM).
Professor Vickers researches and publishes on the cultural history of Southeast Asia. He has held a series of Australian Research Council grants (Discovery and Linkage), the most recent of which is a large team project re-examining Australian history through a multilingual lense. His previous projects lookedat modern and contemporary Indonesian art, Cold War history, and labour and industry in Southeast Asia. As part of a linkage grant on the history of Balinese painting, he created a virtual museum, continuing previous pioneering work in eResearch and teaching. His books include the highly popular Bali: A Paradise Created (2012), The Pearl Frontier: Indonesian Labor and Indigenous Encounters in Australia's Northern Trading Network (2015, with Associate Professor Julia Martínez, funded by an ARC Discovery Project Grant), A History of Modern Indonesia (2013) and Balinese Art: Paintings and Drawings of Bali, 1800-2010 (2012). Professor Vickers has supervised more than 30 PhD theses to completion, and has taught subjects on Southeast Asian history and culture from first year undergraduate to Honours and Masters levels. Professor Vickers is frequently asked to comment on Indonesia and Australian-Indonesian relations for national and international media.
His research interests are in the fields of Indonesian history and historiography, Indonesian art, particularly Balinese art, Australian-Indonesian relations, Labour and globalisation in the Asia-Pacific, Maritime Southeast Asia, and. Panji stories in Southeast Asia.
He received several awards and honours, such as Visiting Fellow, Australian National University (2021), Asia Research Grant Scholar, National Library of Australia (2021), Brayton Wilbur Jr Fellow at the Asian Art Museum San Francisco (2018), Elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities (2014) , Queensland Literary Awards, USQ History Book Award (2016), 2016 Chief Minister’s Northern Territory History Book Award, and Shortlist 2016 Ernest Scott Prize.
Ketut Suastika graduated from Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University in 1980. His Internal Medicine Specialists obtained from the Faculty of Medicine, Airlangga University in 1988. Then he obtained a degree as an Endocrinologic & Metabolism Consultant in 1997. He completed his Education Doctorate at Airlangga University in 2000. He obtained his full professor in 2002.
Currently he serves as the Head of Endocrinology & Metabolism Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Prof. Dr. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Denpasar Hospital which is affiliated with Faculty of Medicine Udayana University.
