Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University (Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University) is a study program, opened at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University following the Program Study of Physician Education, Public Health Sciences Department, Nursing Science Study Program, and Psychology Study Program. The study program is opened to meet the challenges of the needs for professional physiotherapists, in this case is with autonomous and independent characters in Indonesia, in accordance with Decree of Minister of Health, 376/ Year 2007. Physiotherapy as one of the health care professions are deemed to carry out their tasks and functions in professional, effective and efficient manner. It is because the patients/ clients of physiotherapy fully entrust their motion and function disturbances problems that they suffer to get a qualified and responsible physiotherapy services. The Operational License of Physiotherapy Study Program is issued by the Directorate General for Higher Education No. 53 / D/ O/ 2010 on May 21, 2010. Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University has great potential to keep growing and developing rapidly in accordance with the development of science and technology and the needs of the community.

The organizational structure of Physiotherapy Study Program of Faculty of Medicine at Udayana University is headed by chairman and secretary of the study program, assisted by the coordinators and teams, and is supported by administrative staffs. The Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, is also supported by the Rector, Information System, and Technical Implementation Units, such as the Library and Laboratory. Currently, the implementation of Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University has referred to the vision, missions, objectives and goals determined. Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University has a vision of the formation of Graduate Program of Physiotherapy, which is capable of producing professional physiotherapy, excellent, independent, and cultured as well as having global competitiveness in 2025.

To realize the vision that has been stipulated previously, Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University has a common mission, namely: to empower Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a study program carrying Three Pillars of University, based on the development of science, technology and cultural value. The common missions are outlined in the 3 specific missions, i.e. generating physiotherapists who understand and are able to apply modern learning technology based-physiotherapy science, conducting basic research and innovative applied sciences, and are able to utilize the physiotherapy science to improve the quality of public health services.

Based on the vision and missions, the Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University stipulates the following objectives: to make the Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University graduates mastering the abilities in carrying out work as physiotherapists having basic professional skills, as well as making Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a professional organization/ institution of higher education as well as possessing  a good governance system. 

Based on the vision, mission and goals, Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University sets visions, missions, objectives and goals of the study program, study program disseminations, development of learning systems, improvement in the number and quality of research, alongside the publication of the results, the preparation of quality standards, the development of learning systems, synergy development (lecturers, students and graduates), facilities, and the development of relations in order to establish a partnership with the entire stakeholders.

The already-formulated strategies are expected to be used as guidelines for formulating policies related to actions to be implemented so as to the Three Pillars of University Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University can be implemented effectively and efficiently, supported by reliable management system. Thereby, the study program will yield graduates having the competence as expected.

Vision

The formation of Physiotherapy Undergraduate Program, capable of yielding professional, excellent, independent, and cultured physiotherapists, as well as having high competitiveness in the global level by 2025.

Mission

The General Missions Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University are:
Empowering Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University as a study program that implement The Three Pillars of University based on the development of science, technology and cultural values.
The specific missions of Physiotherapy Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University are:

1. Generating physiotherapists who understand and capable of applying modern learning technology-based physiotherapy science.
2. Carrying out innovative basic and applied research in order to support the educational development and community service.
3. Utilizing the physiotherapy science to improve the quality of public health services
