Udayana University Releases 3,617 Students Participating in KKN PPM Period XXIX, KKN LIK OJK, and KKN TI PUPR

The Rector of Udayana University (Unud) released 3,617 students participating in KKN PPM Period XXIX, KKN LIK OJK (Financial Literacy & Inclusion Financial Services Authority), and KKN TI PUPR (Thematic Public Works and Public Housing Infrastructure) in 2024, which took place in the courtyard of the Rectorate Building Unud, Thursday (11/072-24). The number of KKN participants released this time is 3,671 students spread across 231 villages which are divided into 30 OJK villages, 10 PUPR villages, 100 PUM villages and 91 regular villages and students will be in the villages, starting July 11 - August 25 2024. 

Rector of Udayana University, Prof. Ngakan Putu Gede Suardana, in this release event, said that Unud KKN activities must respond to current developments in globalization, be able to provide solutions to problems in society, and be able to improve the quality of life of the people of Bali in particular and Indonesia in general.

Through this KKN PPM activity, Unud really hopes that students will be able to show Unud's superior, culturally independent identity. Students participating in KKN are expected to truly demonstrate their capacity for good social ethics when present in society.

The Rector hopes that the presence of students in the Village can truly become agents of change in society and become role models and not waste opportunities while in the Village. The Rector advised not to do things that tarnish the alma mater, to maintain the good name of Unud. Maintain integrity, morality and capacity in society. Maintaining Unud's great name is a must.

Present at the release event this time was the Prebekel of Penarungan Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency, who in this case was represented by the Village Secretary, I Gede Gumatra Astawa, S.T, Leaders at Udayana University and DPL who would be tasked with accompanying students in each village.
