Blood Donation Activities for the 60th Anniversary of Udayana University, Targeting 500 Blood Bags

In a series of commemorations of the 60th Anniversary of Udayana University (Unud), the committee held a Blood Donation activity at the Agrocomplex Building, Unud Sudirman Campus, Friday (09/09/2022).

Chairman of the 60th Anniversary of Unud, Dr. Ir. Gede Suarta, M.Si. on this occasion said that this blood donation activity is not only to check health but also to raise awareness about the importance of helping others. "We want to set an example to the community that Udayana University must give the best to the community, one of which is through this blood donation activity," he said. The committee targets 500 blood bags in this activity.

This blood donation activity was carried out in collaboration with the Bali Province Blood Transfusion Unit (UTD), UTD Prof Dr. Hospital. IGNG Ngoerah (Sanglah), UTD Badung, UTD Denpasar, UTD Gianyar and UTD Karangasem. The donors after donating blood get basic necessities such as rice and eggs.

In addition to blood donation activities, various other series of activities were also carried out in welcoming the 60th Anniversary of Udayana University such as the National Seminar, family events, and the culmination of the event on September 29, 2022. "In accordance with the Rector's direction that the implementation of the 60th Dies Natalis must be different from before," added the Chairman of the 60th Anniversary of Unud.
