LPPM Udayana University Provides Debriefing for Participants of KKN PPM Period XXV 2022
The Institute for Research and Community Service Udayana University (LPPM Unud) held a General Debriefing of KKN PPM Period XXV Activities in 2022 at the Widya Sabha Building, Udayana University, Jimbaran. Tuesday (28/6/2022). This event by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP. and followed by all Student Participating in PPM KKN Period XXV 2022, totaling 4,254 people from 13 faculties.
Head of LPPM Unud Prof. Dr. Dr. I Nyoman Suarsana, M.Sc. in his report, he said that the PPM KKN is a mandatory intracurricular KKN which means that students must make or include KKN courses at the KRS, there are 3 credits which are equivalent to 288 hours of work per person in the village. This compulsory intracurricular KKN is packaged in the form of community service which is a form of implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education which has three main aspects in the process of running the university, namely education, research, and community service. The PPM KKN activity is one of the applications or implementation of community service by applying science and technology through community empowerment. In addition, it was also reported that the KKN administration process had been running in mid-April starting from registration, site selection and others to today's general briefing and special briefing. This Community Service Program is spread over 193 villages in all regencies except Denpasar, 10 of which are outside the island of Bali, namely Nusa Penida and involve 193 field supervisors.
Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, MP in this briefing event congratulated the students who would later be deployed to 193 villages in Bali. In this XXV period, all students will do KKN in full, for students will be given briefings by presenting resource persons according to their respective fields. Students participating in the KKIN are also expected to become agents of nationalism and nationalism as well as anti-drug agents. It is hoped that the knowledge gained today can later be implemented in the field with the community in the village, who will continue to maintain health protocols.
In the General Debriefing of PPM KKN Activities for the XXV Period of 2022, two speakers were presented, namely Colonel Kav Jonny Harianto G. S.I.P. (Sahli Pangdam IX Udayana) with the moderator Dr. Piers Andreas Noak, SH., M.Sc. and Drs. Gde Sugianyar Dwi Putra, SH., M.Sc. (Head of BNN Bali Province) with the moderator dr. I Kadek Swastika, M.Kes. Prof. Rai hopes that students will be able to observe and absorb the material as a provision to later enter the community for service tasks in this KKN activity.
