Udayana University Holds International Conference on Innovation for Sustainable Development
Udayana University held a hybrid International Conference on Innovation for Sustainable Development through the Zoom Meeting application with the main location in the Nusantara Hall, Agrokomplek Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Wednesday (23/03/2022). This activity presented 4 keynote speakers including Siti Azizah as Deputy for Entrepreneurship at the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, Prof. Dr. I Wayan Budiasa, S.P., M.P. from Udayana University, Nizar Ayadi from the University of Agora, and Marco Rodolfo Di Tommaso from the University of Bologna.
Dr. Putu Saroyeni Piartrini as the Chair of the International Conference on Innovation for Sustainable Development Committee in his report said that Udayana University is a member of the University Business Engagement - A Smart Path for Development in Indonesia consortium which has the aim of improving welfare and technology development in society. The International Conference on Innovation for Sustainable Development organized by Udayana University is one of the activities organized under the Smart Project and specifically aims to bring together participants from academia, researchers, the business community, who are interested in the interaction between higher education and business.
This online event will be an excellent opportunity to learn, network, share knowledge and exchange experiences. A total of 500 participants registered to take part in this activity, where the topic will be presented by 20 resource persons.
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs of Udayana University Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja in her speech said that Udayana University as a member of the Smart Consortium has a role to improve the ability to build cooperation and networks. The Vice Rector for Academic Affairs warmly welcomed the participants in participating in this International Conference to share knowledge, skills and experiences to promote innovation to promote innovation for sustainable development of the social and economic conditions of the community. This International Conference activity was held to discuss all aspects of education and problems that occur during the development and collaboration of higher education, business, and government institutions.
