Udayana University Gives Appreciation in the Health Sector to Pangdam IX / Udayana
The Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University together with the Bali Provincial Health Office and the Bali Region IDI gave Appreciation in the Health Sector to Pangdam IX / Udayana. Appreciation was held at the FK Unud Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar, Wednesday (9/9/2020). The event was also attended by the Rector of Udayana University, Chair of the Senate, Dean and Director of Post, Director of Unud Hospital, Koorprodi in FK, BEM FK and leaders of Kodam IX / Udayana.
Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. I Ketut Suyasa conveyed this appreciation for the support from the Pangdam in handling Covid-19. Furthermore, the Dean said that synergy is needed in an effort to break the chain of Covid spread so that life can run normally as usual. Through this appreciation, it is hoped that solidity will be tighter and jointly oversee the implementation of health protocols.
Meanwhile, Udayana University Rector Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi gave his appreciation for the implementation of this activity. Since the beginning, the university has also participated in handling Covid through collaboration with the Health Office and IDI. Currently the pandemic has not subsided and the number of cases as of September 8, 2020 is increasing, seeing this situation it is very important to be serious in education and outreach through the synergy of academics, bureaucracy and Kodam in educating the public.
After receiving the Appreciation, Pangdam IX / Udayana Maj. Gen. TNI Kurnia Dewantara said that the appreciation given was a new encouragement and a challenge to continue to do good. This is also due to the support of all components in Kodam IX / Udayana. In recent months we have been battling Covid, in the world around 27 million people have been exposed. This Covid also has tremendous social and economic impacts. If it is not addressed immediately, it will affect the condition of defense and security stability. For this reason, efforts have been made through the available resources to fight Covid and have also made regulations formulation. Kodam certainly cannot move alone, cooperation is needed. With future collaboration, continue to work to overcome the Covid disaster. The Pangdam hopes that all efforts made will receive protection from God and Bali can be free from Covid soon.
