IMPROVING COMMUNITY HEALTH DEGREE, UNUD WILL COOPERATE WITH KEMENKES RI

Yogyakarta - In an effort to improve the public health status of the government, Udayana University as one of the universities collaborated with the Director General of Public Health of the Indonesian Ministry of Health through the signing of the MoU by both parties.

The signing of the MoU was conducted at the National Forum for Research and Development of MCH, Family Planning and Community Nutrition in 2018 at the Ballroom University Club Hotel, Yogyakarta (25/10). Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Dr. I Ketut Suyasa, Sp.B., Sp.OT (K). representing the Rector of Unud at the signing of the MOU.

Earlier on Monday (15/10) at the Bukit Jimbaran Rectorate Building, the Indonesian Ministry of Health represented by the Head of BKM and Director General of Public Health, Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, dr. Kirana Pritasari, MQIH visited Udayana University and met with the Rector of Unud, Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi in the context of the implementation of the intended collaboration. Through the meeting the Rector hoped that the implementation of the KIA-KB-Nutrition Community National Forum in the context of Accelerating the Achievement of 2, 3, 5 and 6 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) was successful and smooth. The Rector also hopes that Unud academics can play a role and help the government in improving the health status of the Indonesian people. (HM)
