STRENGTHENING COOPERATION WITH FK UNUD, DELEGATION OF IUHW VISIT UNUD
Denpasar - Udayana University received a visit from the delegation of the International University of Health and Welfare (IUHW) Tokyo-Japan, Monday (10/09/2018), in the Meeting Room of FK Unud Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. The visit of the delegation led by the Vice President of IUHW, Professor Yukio Matsutani was received by the Chancellor of Unud, Prof. A.A Raka Sudewi was accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Deputy Dean I and the International Cooperation Section of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University.
This visit is in order to follow up the collaboration between the two parties namely Student Exchange. This delegation will select FK Unud students to take part in the program at IUHW. Previously three FK students had attended lectures at IUHW and each year this would continue. This visit was also in the context of renewing the Memorandum of Agreement with the Faculty of Medicine which was an extension of the previous year. Furthermore, this visit also discussed the prospects for other cooperation that could be followed up by both parties. This is in line with the expectation of the FK Dean so that in the future not only the student exchange program will be conducted, but also the exchange staff because the curriculum used at IUHW is very good to be applied in FK Unud. In the future both parties will also be initiated in the form of collaborative research and scientific publications.
Unud's collaboration with IUHW which began in January 2016 has also been followed up with other technical activities in addition to exchange, namely a visit from IUHW to Udayana University, on the other hand a visit by the Chancellor of Unud, the Dean of FK and Chairperson of the International FK Unit to IUHW.
