Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Gde Purwa Samatra as a New Director of RS Unud

Jimbaran - Udayana University Hospital (RS Unud) held an Introduction to the new Director of Unud Hospital, Wednesday (3/1/2018). The event was coupled with the submission of Decree of Appointment of Udayana University Hospital Director by Rector to the new Director of Unud Hospital, Dr. dr. Dewa Putu Gde Purwa Samatra, Sp.S (K). The event was held on the 2nd floor of Unud Hospital which was attended by Head of Public Bureau, Vice Dean of Faculty of Medicine along with Officers and staff of RSU Unud.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr.dr. A A. Raka Sudewi, Sp.S (K) in her speech expressed her appreciation to the previous Director of Unud Hospital who has been developing and working hard to develop the Unud Hospital up to now with various problems that have been faced. The licensing issues such as extension license BPJS and RS permit to Type C need to be completed so that the Hospital can be operated optimally. Further A.A. Raka Sudewi conveyed the Rector has performance targets that have been signed with the Minister of Research and Technology and Finance Minister. This year the Rector has a target to raise the rank of Unud Kemristekdikti version 17th position up to 15th position. Therefore, new innovations and prototypes are needed to support the achievement of the target. RS Unud is also expected to play a role in achieving it.

Director of Unud Hospital, Dr. Dewa Putu Gde Purwa Samatra on the occasion expressed his appreciation to the Rector for the trust given as the Director of Unud Hospital. Further Dewa Gde Purwa Samatra conveyed that it is required polyclinic to support the development of the hospital into type C. To realize that the Director will work with the Government of Bandung to realize RS type C and pursue accreditation. Accreditation is very important in realizing education cooperation with Sanglah Hospital. Director hopes that the future can bring RS Unud to be better and accredited by KARS. (PR)
