Udayana University is Ready to follow PERMATA 2017
Bukit Jimbaran - Udayana University (Udayana University) through the Academic Bureau, Cooperation and Public Relations (BAKH) provided debriefing to students who will follow the Nusantara Homeland Student Exchange Program (PERMATA) Year 2017, Wednesday (30/08/2017) in Rectorate Building Bukit Jimbaran Campus. PERMATA is one of the programs of the Directorate of Learning, Directorate General of Kemenristekdikti Learning and Student Affairs which is intended to provide opportunities for students throughout the country to attend relevant lectures at universities throughout the archipelago, in academic attitudes in the form of credit scores and loan diversions and activities non-academic form of extra-curricular activities, including cross-cultural understanding activities as long as it meets the established criteria. This activity will be held for one semester and a student has only one chance.
The PERMATA program has been implemented since 2014, and Unud has received PERMATA Program students in 2016, three students from Lambung Mangkurat University, South Kalimantan that attended lecturers at the Faculty of Mathematics and Economics and Engineering. In 2017 Unud sent five students as ambassadors to join PERMATA Program. Previously, BAKH Udayana had socialized to faculties in Udayana University. From the results of socialization, there are 20 students who signed up for this program. After the selection, it determined five students who will follow the program PERMATA in accordance with the quota that owned by Unud. The targeted universities are University of Indonesia, Lambung Mangkurat University, Singaperbangsa Karawang University, Sriwijaya University and General Soedirman University.

Head of BAKH, Drs. IGN Indra Kecapa, M.ed said that this activity is a mandatory program from the ministry to improve the ranking of universities. Furthermore, Indra Kecapa said that each participant will be accompanied by the academic staff until they reach the destination university. Participants are also provided with fees in accordance with the provisions of the Directorate of Learning, Directorate General of Learning and Student consisting of travel expenses (PP), and monthly fees. Before the end of the program will be implemented Monitoring and evaluation to monitor activities to fit the goals. Indra Kecapa hopes that the knowledge obtained by PERMATA participants can be socialized to fellow students at Unud. Indra Kecapa also advised to the Ambassador of Unud who follow this program to keep the good name of Unud and promote the achievement of Unud and culture so as to increase the achievement of Unud in the future.
Head of Section for Cooperation and Public Relations, Dra. Hamidiah Yunus in this opportunity congratulated and provided the supplies to students PERMATA Program which related to the experience of receiving PERMATA Program from Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Students who have been elected to participate in PERMATA Program were very grateful and very glad to have got the opportunity to feel the atmosphere of education at major universities in Indonesia. Udayana's ambassador seemed very eager to join this program. According to the plan the participants will leave for the destination University on Sunday, September 3, 2017.(PR)
