Workshop on Academic Writing and Publishing for Indonesian Researchers
Denpasar - Udayana University in cooperation with Enago held a Workshop on Academic Writing and Publishing for Indonesian Researchers on Thursday (13/07/2017) at Nusantara Room, Agrokompleks Building, Sudirman Campus. The workshop was conducted by Institute of Research and Community Service in cooperation with Enago to present about 500 lecturers and students in Udayana University, and other universities in Bali. The workshop presented Dr. Richard de Grijs who is a Publication and Training Consultant from Netherlands Peking University as a resource person.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information of Udayana University, Prof. Drs. I Made Suastra, Ph.D said that this workshop was a follow-up of cooperation between Unud and one publisher based in America that is Enago. As a leading publisher, Enago, founded in 2005, has worked with researchers in over 125 countries to help researchers achieve success for publication. Enago is also the preferred partner for the community, as well as universities around the world. Further Prof. Suastra said that the workshop that held today was the result of the discussion at NAFSA conference in California, USA in May 2017.
Especially in Unud workshop aimed to raise the spirit of researchers for research results can be published internationally. Obstacles faced so far by researchers will be given a solution through this activity on how to load articles and penetrate international journals. Unud is the fourth location of the workshop. Previously the same activities have been implemented in Binus, UI and ITB. Through this activity the researchers are expected to be encouraged to publish their scientific work in reputable international journals.(PR)
