Unud and UNTL Signed MoU
Bukit Jimbaran - Udayana University collaborated with Universidade Nacional Timor Lorosa'e (UNTL) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding Wednesday (14/06/2017) in Bukit Jimbaran Bahasa Room Rectorate Building.The event was attended by Rector of Unud, Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Dean of Faculty of Engineering.

Rector of Unud, Prof. Ketut Suastika in his speech said that in 2014 Udayana University has signed MoU with UNTL through Tri Party Agreement Consortium University in eastern Indonesia, East Timor and Charles Darwin University. The cooperation is conducted in order to strengthen the relationship between universities in eastern Indonesia with universities in Timor Leste in education, planning, research and community service and entrepreneurship development. Further Prof. Suastika conveyed the signing of the MOU both parties was a capital to be developed with various technical cooperation, considering many things that can be cooperated between the two parties in accordance with the field of interest. In addition Prof. Suastika hopes this cooperation can be realized better in the future to be able to give birth to future leaders and provide benefits for both parties.

Rector of UNTL, Prof. Dr. Francisco Martins in his speech expressed his appreciation to the Rector of Udayana University for having cooperated with UNTL in the development of science and technology especially for Timor Leste in educating the next generation of nation. Furthermore, UNTL Rector explained a glimpse of UNTL's history which was established in 2000 and UNTL's new age will be 17 years old. UNTL Rector also conveyed that Unud has made an extraordinary contribution to the development of human resources that has become a leader of the nation in Timor Leste. In partnership with Unud, UNTL will establish technical cooperation in the fields of engineering, tourism and medicine, through various activities including student exchanges, lecturers, research, and various other cooperation.
