Program Study S3 of Agricultural Science Targets
Denpasar (27/04/2017) - Doctoral Program (S3) Agricultural Science of Udayana University received the visit of BAN-PT Assessor Team for Field Assessment. Assessor Team consisted of Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Guritno from Brawijaya University and Prof. Dr. Slamet Susanto, M.Sc from IPB was received directly by the Rector of Unud, Prof. Dr. Dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD-KEMD in the Meeting Room of the Graduate Director. The meeting was also attended by Postgraduate Director, Dean of Faculty of Agriculture, Secretary of LP3M, Head of the Department of Agriculture, Chairman of Graduate Quality Assurance Unit, and Chairman of Unud Resources Unit (USDI).
Rector of Unud, Prof. Ketut Suastika in his speech said that accreditation is a process to improve the quality and quality of education in Unud. Prodi S3 Agricultural Science has been trying to improve its quality. The future of this nation requires experts in agriculture who have high level of expertise to be able to compete in international level. For that reason, the Rector has high hopes to Prodi S3 of Agricultural Science to really try to maintain the quality. Through this field assessment, the Rector also expects input from the assessors to make Agricultural Science Study Program in the future become better and be able to give many experts in the field of agriculture. With various efforts that have been done by Prodi S3 Agricultural Sciences in this accreditation process, which is expected to obtain maximum results with the value of "A".
Prof. Bambang Guritno represented the team of assessors that expressed appreciation for the commitment of leaders in Unud who directly accepted the assessment visit. This field assessment was conducted after the Desk Evaluation at BAN-PT which aims to photograph and provide suggestions as well as a coaching process for the study program. Prof. Bambang also said that it takes hard work of all components in the Prodi S3 Agricultural Sciences Unud to achieve the best results. (PR)
