STUDENTS EXECUTIVE BORD (BEM) OF FACULTY OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY OF UDAYANA TO HOLD NATIONAL SEMINAR AS THE PART OF CONFERENCE HELD BY ASSOCIATION OF STUDENTS SENATE OF FACULTY OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY IN FOUR REGIONS OF INDONESIA

Director General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Ministry of Agriculture of Indonesia while delivering his presentation

Denpasar- Friday (20th/01), Students Executive Board (BEM) of Faculty of Animal Husbandry of Udayana University held a national seminar which brought up a theme "Livestock Sector Development Strategy in Tourism Area to Realize Golden Generation in 2045". The national seminar held in Nusantara Room at Agrokomplek Building was one of a series of territorial conference held by Indonesia Animal Husbandry Student Senate Association hosted by Udayana’s BEM of Faculty of Animal Husbandry. Udayana’s BEM of Faculty of Animal Husbandry was the appointed host in recent year for the annual event. As chairman of the event, was Dewa Made Rama Prasetya, student of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Udayana University of 2014th generation.

"The conference had three series of events, the first is today (20th/01) where we are holding the national seminar and Final Stage of Scientific Writing. Tomorrow (21st/01), we will hold the territorial conference where the members of BEM of Faculty of Animal Husbandry in Indonesia—who belong to the four regions and currently add up to 25 members—participate. At the last day, we will conduct fieldtrip and nutrition campaign as one form of our community service activities” said Rama

Rama also added that the first day event was attended by three experts who became the speakers of the event, namely; Director General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia (Drh. I Ketut Diarmita, MP), there was also the Head of Bali Infrastructure Department, representing The Heads of Animal Husbandry who could not attend the seminar, and the last speaker, was the head of CJ breeding company in Jakarta.

The national seminar was also attended by invited guests from the board of rector of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. drh. I Made Damriyasa, MS, vice-Rector of the University. In addition, the board of dean of Faculty of Animal Husbandry was also spotted in the national seminar.

This series of events in the conference served as the last working plan of Faculty of Animal Husbandry BEM from the period of 2016-2017. At the mean time, the national seminar was attended by about 300 participants consisting of students and the national congress delegations from BEM Faculty of Animal Husbandry in Indonesia which are members of the Association of Student Senate from Faculty of Animal Husbandry in four regions in Indonesia. The event was commenced at 09.00 A.M and ended at 15:00 P.M then followed by scientific writing competition. (dessrimama)
