To celebrate its sixth anniversary, Faculty of Social and Political Science (known as FISIP) Udayana University conducted FISIPHORIA FESTIVAL 2016 at parking area of Agro Complex Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar. This event was held on October 29th and opened by the head of student council and the vice dean of the faculty. The opening ceremony was symbolized by slicing tumpeng and releasing balloons to the sky done by the head of student council, the vice dean, and the head committee of the event.
This event was quite different from last year’s event in which the committee asked all departments in the faculty to participate in this year’s event. Each department gave different vibe. Among others were: international relation department’s representative performed some songs, country administration department’s representative presented modern dance, library major’s representative presented poetry musical, politic department’s bands performed as well, communication department’s performed a fashion show, and sociology department performed stand-up comedy. Thus, all departments could celebrate the anniversary together like a family.
Besides, there were many guest stars performed in this event. They were famous bands from the faculty and Bali. Among others were: Nadalogi, Fasih, Summer In Vegas, Incik Boss, Wallaby Project, Pygmy Marmoset, and Dialog Dini Hari which was the most awaited band to perform. The bands’ performances became attraction of this event; thus it could be seen from the enthusiasm of the audiences who came to the event. (ayuniantari)
