Recently, UNUD got achievement again which presented by two students of International Relations, they were Anak Agung Ayu Regina Mega Pratama and Muhammad Mohdar who became the delegation in BIMUN (Brawijaya Model United Nation) that held on 6 to 9 of October 2016 and was took place in Harris Convention Hotel, Malang. This event was raising the topic ‘Military Intervention against Terrorism’. The event was an activity to welcome the 9th anniversary of HI Brawijaya. In this event, the delegates of UNUD got ‘verbal recommendation’ award. There were any participants who came from various educational institutions in Indonesia, starting from students until university students of entire Indonesia. Besides, there were delegations from foreign country such Australia also attend to compete in this event.
The event was held for four days and was consist of some sessions. The first day was held the opening ceremony by presented East Java dance, and was opened by the Dean and lecturers of HI Brawijaya. The second day was held conference social night, and the third day was conference day 2. On these two days, there was a meeting, which in one day there were 4 sessions of meeting with 90 minutes duration for each meeting. Not only meeting agenda, on the third day also held a closing ceremony and HI festival. For the last day, there was city tour activity, where the participants visited some places in Malang, souvenir shop, and eat together. According to Regina, this activity was quite pleasant and gave many experiences. She also hoped for Udayana keep supporting its delegation into event like this in the future. (sobhita)
