The freshman filled the Udayana University Widya Sabha, Saturday (20/08/2016)
To welcome the freshman, Udayana University conducted Student Day activity which was held on 20-21 August 2016 and opened by the Rector of Udayana University Prof. Dr.dr. I Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD KEMD.
This activity aimed to introduce in the field of student life was attended by 3200 students, 850 of whom were old students. Although there were old students as participants, this activity was not lost its essence. "For the old students they followed, and this is also an added value for them" said Mahendra, president of BEM Udayana University.
The entire Student Organization at Udayana University participated in Student day event. Starting from the Paguyuban Mahasiswa from any region until all of the Student Activity Unit. "Basically the purpose of student day is to introduce the freshman to the activities at the Udayana University and culture throughout Indonesia so that can evoke a sense of nationalism," said vice-Rector III Dr. I Nyoman Suyatna, SH., MH.
Student day 2016 activity was attended by Anies Baswedan (former education minister) and Andi Arsana. In the Widya Sabha room, Anies Baswedan and Andi Arsana gave an inspiration to the students to compete with the other universities on the International level. Bli Pande who is an activist was present to provided a creative campaign to the freshman of Udayana University. (sobhita)
