Rector of UNUD reiterates MEA impact on Human Rights
Faculty of Law Udayana University and Human Rights Resource Centre (HRRC) corporate again in the activities of The Summer Institute in International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights on the topic "examing the Human Rights Impact of the Asean Economic Community" on 10-11 August 2016 held at the Conrad Hotel , Badung, Bali. This event was welcomed by the Rector of Udayana University Prof.Dr.dr. Ketut Suastika, Sp.PD.KEMD and the directions of the Faculty of Law Udayana University.
This event was held by the cooperation of USAid / Progress, WSD Handa Center for Human Rights and International Justice Standford University, East West Center and Human Rights Resource Centre. In his speech, the Rector explained that "only a little people who emphasize the attention to human rights that may be at risk and could affect the ASEAN Economic Community". Suastika also said "This event shows our commitment to implement the MoU research, training and education cooperation".
The Rector of UNUD expected that for the next Summer Institute 2016 is used as a forum to share experiences and perspective related to the important issues and widely discussed. (sobhita)
