Udayana University's Faculty of Law is in the Top 10 Best Law Faculties in Indonesia Based on SCimago Institutions Rankings

Denpasar – The Faculty of Law, Udayana University (Unud) is in the top 10 best Law Faculties in Indonesia based on the 2024 SCimago Institutions Rankings survey. Information from the website www.scimagoir.com, the ranking assessment refers to a brief overview of scientific performance in recent years. Research rankings refer to the volume, impact, and quality of an institution's research output.

The innovation ranking is calculated based on the number of institutional patent applications and citations received for research results from patents. Finally, community rankings are based on the number of pages on an institution's website and the number of backlinks and mentions from social networks.

Dean of the Faculty of Law, Unud, Prof. Dr. Putu Gede Arya Sumerta Yasa, SH., M.Hum, when confirmed, expressed his gratitude and pride for the achievements achieved by the Faculty of Law, Udayana University. "We would like to thank the academic community of the Unud Faculty of Law who have worked solidly together to provide the best for our beloved Red Campus," said the Dean.

The Dean of the Faculty of Law, Udayana University, also expressed his gratitude to the Student Community For International Law (SCIL) Delegation, Assistant Lecturers, Practitioners and Alumni who had achieved success as Second Runner Up in the 2025 Philip C. Jessup International Moot Court competition so that they had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C. take part in international competitions. This is history repeating itself after 11 years ago SCIL Faculty of Law Unud also took part in the same competition in Washington D.C.

Apart from that, the Unud Faculty of Law is also committed to realizing internationalization by adding four (4) international collaborations in 2025, namely with The City Law School, Boston University School of Law, University of Minnesota Law School and Indiana University Maurer School of Law. Hopefully this achievement can be increased and used to support the quantity and quality of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
