Reflection at the End of 2024, the Rector Invites the Guyub Academic Community to Build Udayana University towards a Superior, Independent, Cultural and Globally Competitive of Unud

Jimbaran - Udayana University (Unud) held the 2024 End of Year Reflection event at the Widya Sabha Auditorium Building, Jimbaran Campus, Monday (30/12/2024). This activity was carried out in the form of a report on the performance of Udayana University and giving appreciation to work units and students who excelled as well as the 2024 Lepasar and 2025 New Year processions. The 2024 End of Year Reflection was attended by leaders, Dharma Wanita PBB as well as representatives of lecturers, staff and students at Udayana University.

Rector of Unud Prof. Ir. I Ketut Sudarsana, ST., Ph.D. On this occasion, this very important event was not just ceremonial but as a moment to make resolutions for the coming year. As the Rector of Udayana University, he invited the audience to look at the journey of Udayana University over the past year, namely 2024. Let's maintain the good things, while let's work on the things that have not been achieved in 2025.

It was further stated that in 2025 it must rise with a new foundation and chapter in order to strengthen Udayana University's identity as a university that upholds local culture and wisdom through strengthening science and technology towards a superior and integrated educational ecosystem.

In his presentation, the Rector of Unud conveyed the achievements that had been achieved including Unud's performance achievements and rankings both nationally and internationally, Unud's Strategic Plan and RPAJP, breakthrough programs carried out in achieving World Class University, Unud's transformation and branding, Resources at Unud, Achievements achieved as well as IKU Achievements in 2024.

Through this opportunity, the Rector expressed his gratitude to the entire Udayana University academic community, including lecturers, education staff and students who have provided contributions and support and dedicated themselves to working hard together this year in advancing Udayana University. 2024 is a tough year for Udayana University, hopefully in 2025 it can do better for Unud's progress.

"Let's rise together to build Udayana University in unity according to our respective roles to move towards a superior, independent, cultural and globally competitive Unud," said the Rector of Unud.

Several awards were handed out at this Reflection event, namely the Integrity Zone Award to the Faculty of Economics and Business which received the Silver Winner Rank from the Ministry, the Cooperation Award in the Best International Cooperation category, the Public Relations Award in the Magazine category, the Award for the Teaching Campus Program, the Outstanding Student Award, the Anugerah Award LPPM LEAGUE, Handover of Royalties from the Commercialization of Innovation, Handover of the Research Center of Excellence Book, Center of Excellence for Science & Technology: A Complete Profile by the Chairman of the LPPM to the Rector, SAKIP Award, Awards to the 6 Faculties that have built Integrity Zones and Awards to Lecturers and Staff who are entering their retirement period.

In this activity, several building inscriptions were also signed by the Rector of Unud. Then continued with the procession of Sending Off the Year 2024 and Welcoming the New Year 2025 with the blowing of Trumpets.
