Improving Health Services, Udayana University Collaborates with the Sabu Raijua Regency Government

Udayana University (Unud) has established cooperation with the Sabu Raijua Regency Government which was marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the Bahasa Room of the Unud Jimbaran Campus Rectorate Building, Wednesday (18/09/2024). This signing was attended by the Rector who on this occasion was represented by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information and his staff as well as the Regent of Sabu Raijua Regency and his staff.

Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and Information, Prof. I Putu Gede Adiatmika in his speech conveyed important information about the development of Udayana University, which in the near future, namely September 29 2024, will celebrate the 62nd Anniversary of Udayana University.  Of course, Udayana University is happy because it can collaborate with the Sabu Raijua Regency Government which of course provides benefits for both parties.

"On the other hand, of course we also hope to be able to contribute to the development of the Sabu Raijua Regency Government, both human resource development and other activities, in accordance with the capacity and competence that we have at Udayana University," said the Vice Rector.

Furthermore, the Vice Rector hopes that what is being done for the development of Udayana University students and also for the development of Sabu Raijua Regency through this collaboration can provide mutual benefits.

Meanwhile, the Regent of Sabu Raijua Regency, Drs. Nikodemus N.Rihi Heke.M.Si in his speech said that it was important to carry out this collaboration, especially in the health sector in order to provide the best service for people in need. As one of the districts in NTT, currently the Sabu Raijua Regional Hospital still has limitations in health services, especially in specialist fields, so that for some health treatments it is still referred to the provincial city.  "I believe that Udayana University has various programs that collaborate with various parties, one of which will be with Sabu Raijua Regency in terms of health services," he said.
