Improving Research Reviewer Competence, LPPM Udayana University Provides Technical Guidance
Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Udayana University (Unud), Prof. Dr. Ir. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja, M.P., IPU. opened the 2024 LPPM Udayana University Research and Community Service Reviewer Candidate Technical Guidance (Bimtek) event on Thursday-Friday, 14-15 November 2024 at the Bali Dynasty Resort, Kuta Bali Hotel.
Prof. Rai, in his speech said that Udayana University realizes the important role of research and community service, and continuously strives to improve the quality of this research and service. Unud is also committed to developing research and community service and of course producing innovations that are profitable for stakeholders.
Chairman of LPPM Unud, Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suarsana, M.Sc. in his speech said that along with the increase in the number of proposals to Udayana University, reviewers must also be increased.
"With current developments related to increasing quantity and quality as well as changes in the number of proposals received by Udayana University from year to year which are increasing both internally and externally, therefore it is very necessary to have sufficient reviewers both in terms of quantity and quality, so "That's why we have to increase the need for reviewers," said Prof. Suarsana.
This event is an effort by the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) at Udayana University to prepare and improve the competency of internal reviewers for research and community service at Udayana University.
This technical guidance presented four speakers, including Prof. Dr. Ir. Osfar Sjofjan, M.Sc., IPU. with material on Reviewer Ethics, Techniques for Reviewing Proposal Selection, Chandra Wahyu Purnomo, ST, ME, M.Eng., D.Eng with material on Budget Finance, Techniques for Reviewing RAB, Monev and Outcomes, Prof. Dr. drh. I Nyoman Suarsana, MSi., with material on Udayana University Research and Service Policy Direction (2022-2026 Research RIP and 2022-2026 Service Strategic Plan) on the first day.
This technical guidance was attended by Deans at Udayana University, Postgraduate Directors, Chair of LP3M, Chair of USDI, Heads of LPPM of State and Private Universities in Bali Province.
