Carrying out a Field Assessment, the LAM-PTKes Assessor Team Visits the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University
Jimbaran - The Assessor Team from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes) visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University (Unud) in the context of a field assessment of the accreditation of the Undergraduate Veterinary Education Study Program and the Veterinary Professional Study Program, Wednesday (11/9/2024) . The Assessor Team present was Prof. Dr. drh. Joko Prastowo, M.Si (Gadjah Mada University), Prof. drh. Tutik Wresdiyati, Ph.D., PA.Vet (Bogor Agricultural Institute) and Prof. Dr. drh. Ririh Yudhastuti, M.Sc (Airlangga University).
The opening of the assessment was attended by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs representing the Rector of Unud, Chair of LPPM, Representative of LP3M, Representative of USDI, Secretary of the Library, Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chair of the Senate, Study Program Coordinator, Taskforce Team, Lecturers, Students, staff and invitees other.
Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Unud Prof. I Nyoman Suartha in his speech expressed the hope that the assessment would run smoothly and provide maximum results. This assessment is very meaningful as an effort to show and gain external recognition that the services provided to stake holders are optimal, of course with conditions and hopefully achieve superior results. The party has also carried out the results of the mid-year monitoring and evaluation review and it has been implemented, namely regarding graduates on time and grounding the vision and mission. The team has also prepared the forms optimally and it is hoped that the services at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will be included in the superior category.
Assessor Representative Prof. Joko Prastowo in his speech said that his party had carried out several assessments at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Udayana University and what had been done at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine had been photographed as reported by the Dean. LAM-PTKes assigned it to assess what has been done at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He hopes that the assessment can run well to achieve shared goals.
Meanwhile the Vice Rector Prof. I Gede Rai Maya Temaja conveyed a glimpse of Udayana University which has three campus locations. As the oldest and largest university in Bali, Unud has a moral responsibility to its users or stakeholders to continue to improve itself in educational services, development of science, technology and arts as well as human resource development.
In carrying out this responsibility, the commitment of Udayana University and the entire academic community is a sustainable main component in governance. The quality culture process in the studied study program is on the track, has received an A designation and is AUN-QA certified. The Vice Rector hopes that the study program can achieve the title of Excellence. Assessor input is highly expected to improve the implementation of the study program for the better.
