Celebrating the 62nd Anniversary, Udayana University Holds the Rector's Cup Table Tennis Championship

Udayana University (Unud) held the Rector's Cup Table Tennis Championship to celebrate the 62nd Anniversary of Udayana University in 2024 at the Agrokomplek Building, Sudirman Campus, Denpasar on Tuesday (10/9/24). This event was officially opened by the Chair of the 62nd Anniversary of Udayana University, Dr. Ketut Adi Atmika.

Chairman of the 62nd Anniversary Dr. Ketut Adi Atmika on this occasion said that the spirit of the 62nd Anniversary of Udayana University was expressed in festivities in various sports, including table tennis.

"Six state universities participated in this competition, including Denpasar Terbuka University, Denpasar Indonesian Art Institute, Pendidikan Ganesha University, Bali State Polytechnic, Bali Tourism Polytechnic, as well as Udayana University. We are grateful to capture the enthusiasm of the community, especially those who are involved in table tennis, so that you can participate in the events that we organize and are very welcomed when you invite several campuses to take part in this activity," said Adi Atmika.

Chairman of the Dies added that his party hopes that the Rector's Cup event can continue to be held continuously, and can be developed into a national scale activity.

"This year it will still be on a regional scale, hopefully next year Astungkara can be upgraded to a national scale to echo the spirit of inspiration and motivation in sports, especially table tennis," added Adi Atmika.

Adi Atmika also emphasized that this activity also serves as a means of establishing ties between institutions and as an inspiration for other sports. This event is one of the highlights of the Anniversary with positive value.

The results of the Rector's Cup Table Tennis match were won by 1st place from Udayana University, 2nd place from the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Denpasar, and 3rd place from the Terbuka University and the Pendidikan Ganesha Singaraja University.
