Improving Marketing Skills for Businesspeople, PPK Ormawa BEM Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University Conducts Prasiwara Training Vol. 2 in Nyuhtebel Village
Denpasar, BEM Press Bureau, Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University - Student Organization Capacity Strengthening Program Team (PPK Ormawa) Student Executive Board (BEM) Faculty of Economics and Business, Udayana University (Unud) carried out Prasiwara Training (Prasa) Vol. 2, on Sunday, August 11 2024 at the Nyuhtebel Village Perbekel Office, Manggis District, Karangasem Regency. This training activity is part of a form of community empowerment carried out by the Ormawa PPK Team which aims to improve the skills of the Nyuhtebel Village community in promoting prasi works of art. This activity was attended by the people of Nyuhtebel Village who work as prasi craftsmen.
The initial series of activities was a presentation of customer engagement-based marketing techniques delivered by the Kadek Agus Putra Mahendra implementation team. Customer engagement-based marketing is a technique that involves customers directly in the product and business marketing process which is useful for increasing customer satisfaction and thus has the potential to increase profits. Apart from that, knowledge was also provided regarding the impact of using this marketing technique for prasi products from the Nyuhtebel Village community, including direct feedback from customers to improve product quality, increase customer trust, and personalize products to suit customer preferences.
Next is training for the community to create content planning to properly prepare the marketing content they want to carry out and the strategies that can be implemented based on these techniques. In this activity, people are given the freedom to show their creativity based on the understanding previously obtained. On Prasa Vol. 2 communities were given prasi product marketing techniques to increase sales so that they had an impact on improving the economy of Nyuhtebel Village.
The topics designed by the Implementation Team were well received by the local community and were new things to learn. “I am happy to have the opportunity to educate the younger siblings in Nyuhtebel Village. Seeing their enthusiasm in learning new things reflects the large amount of potential that has not been developed to its full potential. "This shows that with the right guidance and opportunities, they can achieve extraordinary achievements and contribute positively to their society," said I Kadek Agus Putra Mahendra as Speaker and Implementing Team of PPK Ormawa BEM, Faculty of Economics and Business, Unud.
With this training, it is hoped that it can increase the knowledge and skills of village communities in entrepreneurship. "We hope that the future programs that we will all carry out together with the Ormawa PPK Team and the village community can continue to be implemented successfully and can achieve and produce maximum output so that the aim of our presence here can have a positive impact on Nyuhtebel Village so that it can become a Village Entrepreneurial," said Ni Ketut Suryawardhani Kusumastuti as Chair of the Ormawa PPK Implementation Team.
